USGS Earthquake Map Site

Dear Readers,

I must admit that I had preferred the old, un-upgraded site, but after some missteps the USGS has finally arrived at a design upgrade that is more workable than it was last year.

When you hit this page, go to the rotary wheel in the upper right and then choose "7 Days, All Magnitudes Worldwide," then click on "Search Earthquake Archives."

That is to say, if you want to see all the induced quakes caused by fracking flowback water waste injection wells, like the ones in Oklahoma, where the number of quakes has increased over normal background levels by 5,000%.  Here is the interactive map in The New York Times
