Faroe Islands, Denmark, Long-Finned Pilot Whale Slaughter

A concerned reader sent me the following link to an article about the pilot-whale slaughters occurring at the Faroe Islands. The photos are so sad and graphic that I could hardly bear to look at them. I would hope that someday soon this sort of animal slaughter will be seen as incompatible with respecting ourselves as human beings.
