U.S. Tornado statistics are going to increase again, as more than 60 additional tornadoes, some large EF4s, occurred in November, 2011.
This year has already broken an number of historic records for the largest number of tornadoes in a month (April, 2011). The count continues..
This year has broken a number of historic records for violent storms. The month of April, 2011, is likely the largest tornado month in history.
The total annual number of tornadoes is still climbing, as even November had over 60 tornadoes.
2011 is extraordinary in tornado history.
