Extreme loss of multi-year ice in the Arctic
Ignatius Rigor, who studies Arctic ice and climate at the University of Washington, has created an animation showing how the oldest thickest sea ice has been progressively flushed from the Arctic Ocean over the last two decades.

Take a look at the comments. He appears to be regarded as way too complicit in seeing this stuff even from his overly moderate POV.
Those commenters are stooges and need not be considered. Does he actually worry about paid denialists and fanatic neocons?
The evidence of rapid change (about a microsecond on a geologic timescale) is right there in front of him or anyone else for that matter.
His own video is proof against his overly moderate POV.
I just don't know what the heck is wrong with him, except that he thinks regulations can't work. Excuse me? Regulations are about all we have. The market is not moving fast enough. He displays vast ignorance of the dynamics of business planning. Businesses will not move if they do not know what the playing field is going to be like. They will not change. We have already seen this in the U.S. Other countries have promoted and given incentives to green energy companies and they are doing well. Ours are behind everybody else because we subsidize Big Oil.
