LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel says an ExxonMobil pipeline that burst last month, leaking oil into a neighborhood at Mayflower, has a hole in it that is 22 feet long and 2 inches wide.
McDaniel said his office received 12,500 pages of documents from the company regarding the spill Wednesday, shortly before a news conference.
State lawyers are reviewing ExxonMobil's documents. The attorney general had issued a subpoena last week seeking material related to the March 29, 2013, spill near Lake Conway.
No one was injured, but the spill led authorities to evacuate more than 20 homes.
Arkansas Department of Health spokesman Ed Barham says the air quality in the area has been improving since the spill.
ExxonMobil has said it was cooperating with McDaniel's investigation.
