Ultra-right-wing, plutocrat, climate-change denier David Koch is so paranoid that he called two protesters "very, very extreme" and "very dangerous" -- we all had a very good laugh at that one.
Mr. Koch, it is called the power of free speech, exercised by two people with no outside funding and on limited incomes. Your money funds the faux think tanks and their minions like Patrick Michaels, Richard Lindzen, Fred Singer and Richard Muller who publish and spout faux science. Your eminent degree notwithstanding, apparently you are too intellectually lazy to actually deeply read the real science and think it through in an analytical manner like a real scientist does. So long as you read the nonsense given to you by your paid minions, you will remain ignorant and use your money in ignorant and incredibly damaging ways. This is such a pity, as you obviously have a good opinion of yourself and what you do.
You are nothing like the conservatives of my father's generation who actually conserved. For every quail my grandfather shot, he raised two more to put back into the wild. You extract and extract, but what do you do to replenish the resources you have taken? That is your responsibility. You don't replenish even 1% of what you extract or use.
Someone with an advanced degree like yours should know that the planet is finite. Your epiphany due to the plane crash and cancer has caused you to view your life as special, but you have chosen actions that mean that your name will be held forever in infamy. You misinterpreted your role, you went down the wrong path. A man in your position is constantly told he is right, even when he is not. When was the last time someone seriously disagreed with you to your face? How often can you remember that happening in the last few years? You're seriously isolated. A damned shame.
Sincerely,
Tenney Naumer
