OMG Moment - Sea surface temps near India, Southeast Asia, Western Pacific
But since a world record temperature of over 128 °F was recorded over there not so long ago, and people are dying of heat waves in India, then I would venture to guess that these are probably higher than the average over the last 30 years.
Note that these are given in absolute temperature and not in the difference between the absolute and the 30-year mean.
Are these anomalies?
