Because I check the northern hemisphere jetstream map every day, I've gotten real curious about eastern Greenland the last several days getting so much southerly air. I looked up the forecast for Kulusuk (on the east side of Greenland) and the forecast high today of 57 will be just 7 degrees cooler than the projected high today here in Ludington, Michigan -- again, thanks to the hugely meandering jet stream, which in turn, as we've learned from Jennifer Francis, owes to the severe loss of summer Arctic sea ice.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14385237000522801703noreply@blogger.com
